Two men are in custody following an investigation into damaged mailboxes near Snow Camp.

According to the Alamance County Sheriff's office, Sheriff Terry Johnson received calls on Aug. 25 of damage to multiple mailboxes near the intersection of Friendship Rock Creek Road and Spanish Oak Hill Road. Upon arrival, Sheriff Johnson requested deputy assistance with the investigation.

During the investigation, deputies found more than 20 mailboxes, a fiber optic cable box, a DOT traffic sign and yard signs had been damaged. They also found evidence indicating the damage was caused by a white Dodge Ram pickup truck. Camera recordings show the damage occurred just after 1 a.m. and included a video of the suspect vehicle.

Deputies located the truck and its owner Cole Worley. Authorities said the suspect vehicle had damage consistent with that of striking the mailboxes. Investigators learned that Bruce Hadley, along with Worley, was also involved in the incident. Both men were arrested Thursday and face several property damage charges.
