Grass Routes at the Stitch in Time Market

Saturday, Sept 24th from 9am-noon at Arbor Park

Grass Routes is a CT based 5-piece bluegrass band. Since 1980 they have been delighting audiences with a repertoire ranging from traditional bluegrass standards to folk and contemporary songs all performed in their own unique bluegrass style. Skillful instrumental work and strong vocals give Grass Routes their own characteristic sound. Showcasing especially tight harmonies, vocals include duets to four part harmonies. What makes Grass Routes unique is that each member sings lead. With five lead vocalists, Grass Routes presents a different style and material with each vocal arrangement. Bring a chair and relax under the shade trees in Arbor Park for an enjoyable morning.

Prepare to get cozy for fall with warm, handmade items like beautiful quilts, fuzzy socks, soft sweaters, and more. Our Stitch in Time market will feature local quilters, stitchers, knitters, and spinners including Clear Mountain Alpaca, Fido's Fiber, Deepika Indukuri, Gingers Yarn Creations, Rocky25 Emporium, and Nola Fiber Creations. As the nights get cooler, now is the perfect time to treat yourself or a loved one to a delightful, comfy bit of country warmth. Meet a real alpaca, check out a spinning demonstration, catch the tail end of summer produce, and pick up your favorite fall fruits and veggies. Local vendors offer meat, fish, dairy, baked goods and prepared foods, and more.
